1. Who is responsible for your data

Javier Ortiz Saiz (“Make The Jump”), Madrid, Spain. Contact for any privacy matter: [email protected].

2. What data I collect and why

Contact and pro bono forms

When you use a form I collect the details you type in: name, email address and, depending on the form, type of organisation, website, stage, what you are looking for, the kind of coaching you need and your LinkedIn profile. I use them only to answer your request and, for pro bono applications, to assess whether I can help.

Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and steps taken at your request before an engagement (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Retention: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.

Commercial requests

Commercial initiatives are run through Pleg, the digital product unit of Paradigma Digital. If you ask for a paid engagement, your contact details may be shared with Paradigma Digital to handle it.

Website analytics

  • Matomo, hosted on my own server, measures visits without cookies and with anonymised IP addresses, and is not shared with third parties. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used (art. 6.1.f GDPR). It also measures, in aggregate, visits from bots and AI agents and the use of the forms by AI agents.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.), including Clarity session recordings and heatmaps with sensitive fields masked, are only activated if you accept statistics cookies in the cookie banner. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • AB Split Test, hosted on this website, tests versions of pages and only counts your visit after you accept statistics cookies.

3. Who processes data on my behalf

  • Hosting: Bluehost (Newfold Digital), servers in the EU (Frankfurt).
  • Email: messages sent to the website are forwarded to a Google (Gmail) mailbox.
  • Analytics: Google and Microsoft, only with your consent.

Some of these providers may transfer data to the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

5. Cookies

Details of the cookies used on this website and how to change your choice are in the Cookie Policy.
